The home automation system called "Home Assistant(HASS)" will be installed in the gateway to manage and control the other devices via WiFi network. The WEB frontend interface doesn't depend on any Operating Systems, so, it can be used on MAC, Windows, Linux, iOS, Android and so on. This system centralizes all devices and the automation rules.

You can configure the WiFi connection between the gateway and the home router on the WEB Interface. The gateway has rolse for the Acess Point to establish the wifi connection with the home router and DHCP server which enables the peripheral devices to access to the gateway. Even if the gateway doesn't connect to the internet, you can establish the home automation system in the closed network.

Linphone: The SIP Phone App is installed to the gateway for making the calls to your mobile at the emergency event. Making the calls and user registration are all free. The home automation rules enable to make a call automatically when the sensor devices detected the emergency event. Linphone is operated by the IR remote device or the WEB interface on the gateway. 

VLC media player is installed for listening to the net radio programs and playing the any sounds. This player is used for the notification of the emergency event by sound when the security device sent the exceptional data. The home automation rules enable to play any music at any time(timer). VLC also controlled by IR remote controller or WEB interface on the gateway.
